I’m renting a Ford Escape via Turo so I can escape my Jeepless state of being.

Should be fixed next week, hopefully, but it’s a long list: exhaust is colliding with the driveshaft, both lower control arms need to be replaced, motor mounts need to be replaced, sway bar link bushings.

I like that, and I hate IPAs. I’m not dissing anybody who likes them, but I think many people drink them because they are hip and they want to be seen drinking them. Give me a good crispy pilsener any day of the week.

Well, it’s possible that my transmission problems are actually structural stability problems, so this might save me from a 5k transmission.

I haven’t really. Outside of few Oppos elsewhere. Anyways it’s a ‘84 Buick Electra wagon. Far from mint but runs and drives good and has good body (apart from lower door rust).
